Iceland: The Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, in a location favorable for geothermal power, and is supplied by water used in the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power station.

Iceland is an exotic place to visit with its almost alien landscape.  The Blue Lagoon is the main attraction.  Also, on a clear night, you can see the aurora borealis or Northern Lights A trip to Iceland to relax in the Blue Lagoon would be a serious and enjoyable change of pace.
