As a family, we enjoy traveling and we also enjoy exercising. Even when we are on vacation we still try to get in some form of exercise and walking is one of the quickest and easiest to do.
When walking at home or abroad, we like to use an app called Endomondo. It not only keeps track of all the necessary stats for exercising, but it also uses GPS to show where we are performing this activity. We used Edomondo when we were in Hawaii and upon looking at the map, it hit us that we could use this app on all of our trips. The mission became abundantly clear: use it in every country we visit, ultimately tracking our activity on all 7 continents.

We took two walks during our stay at the Riu Guanacaste. The first was just an early morning walk on the beach, which we enjoy doing as a family. The second walk was to go find the Infamous Monkey Bar. We heard that you had a great chance of seeing the local monkey population and we did find one little fella hanging out.

Here are the Endomondo maps of the two walks on the beach.
